The Canvas Casita

Tent meets luxury hotel, resulting in the best of both. Integrated in the forest, canvas walls allow for a full sensory experience at your stay In the Wild. The sounds of the birds, trees and wind to sooth your mind as you are falling asleep or waking up. Roll up with walls in the morning to see the forest that surrounds you.

Literally a “soft” opening. Start with simple but elegant canvas structures on wood platforms. They are very quick and relatively inexpensive to buy or very inexpensive and relatively quick to make. Guest accommodations, the pavilion, employee quarters, etc. can all be initially constructed from canvas making it possible to have all structures in place in 1-4 weeks. During the Season, team will begin construction on Phase 2 accommodations.

Phase 2 | The Casita

The Canvas Casita has grown a set of walls. The canvas is replaced by glass, stone or wood but the immersive forest experience remains. The feeling stays the same, but the structures transition for strength and permanence.

The casitas are integrated in the forest. Made from materials found on the land and designed to be a part of the environment. Listen the sounds of the birds, trees and wind to sooth your mind as you are falling asleep or waking up. On chilly nights, let the wood oven warm your space. The casitas are spread out over 10 acres and designed for privacy, so you can enjoy the open design without feeling exposed.
