Jodi Jack| Dreamer

Partners in business and life, Jennifer and Jodi work together In the Wild. Jodi is a visionary, an ideator and a creative.

Her days In the Wild are always different. Some days she can be found building casitas, tables, ofuros or smaller projects like making spa products, baskets or rugs from found forest material.

In the off-season she travels with Jennifer and indulges in photography while pinching herself.

Jennifer Jaffe, Founder

Jennifer Jaffe | Navigator

Jennifer is a strategist and an implementor. She knows to to take a vision and make it happen.

In the Wild, most of what you eat is grown or foraged from the land. In the fall of the previous year, Jennifer comes up with a general menu for the upcoming season. She spends her days planning, planting and tending the garden, or down at the stream fly fishing, doing her best to make sure that there is fresh fish on the menu.

Like the guests, the Wild Community is made up of travellers with diverse backgrounds and interests, all sharing something special which brings them to this place, all taking something special from this place with them when they leave. 10 Things We Love About You

#1 You Are Moved By the Power of Purpose

This is not a job. This is an experience to make a change for the greater good. In the Wild is where people come to be better versions of themselves. This is just as true for our team as it is for our guests. Our mission is grounded in the power of purpose and you are a part of that.

#2 You Love Helping People Thrive

Everyone wants to thrive; to live a prosperous and fulfilling life. In the Wild, that is literally our reason of being: to ensure that everyone thrives and reaches their highest potential.

#3 You Love Nature

You are happier listening to tweets than you are reading them.

#4 You are a Flexible Team Player

We may all have different roles, but we share the same goal. You have finished your work for the morning, but you are happy to help out a team member so that we can all show up for lunch together and we will do the same for you.

#5 You are Curious and Creative; a Student and a Teacher

Together, the Wild Community has an incredibly diverse set of collective intelligence. You are just as eager to share your mad skills with others as you are to gain new ones. You whittle, weave, knit, sew, tinker, build, bake, invent, garden etc., and you are excited to use these skills to contribute In the Wild.

#6 You Want to Work With a Company That Believes What You Believe

Guests choose to stay with us because our core beliefs align. We think you should choose us, only if you feel strongly aligned with our core values. We believe in authenticity, kindness, and equality. We have open minds and open hearts. What do you believe in? Who are you?

#7 You Believe in Social Good

Good is not something you do, it has to be who you are. You understand your impact and power in the world, and you use it to make the world a better place.

#8 You Are the Face of Excellence

In the Wild, we provide guests with a transformative experience, so they can return to their lives as better versions of themselves. Transformations aren’t easy, so we work hard to ensure that every part of their experience is exceptional and beyond their expectations. You understand that you are a key part of this process. Your passion and hard work is inspiring.

#9 Our World’s Aligned and you Found this Position

Everything happens for a reason, and something brought you to this page today. What is is that makes us so perfect for each other?

#10 You Applied

You found the time and made the leap. Thank you.
